Wednesday, February 1st 2012 is the ground-breaking ceremony for the new Amstetten School Campus. This event will count with the presence of the mayor of Amstetten and the governor of Lower Austria. Atelier Thomas Pucher is the final winner of the international competition for the new Regional Hospital in the City of Salzburg, Austria. The design process of the first phase of the 89.000m² building complex has just started and construction work is due to start in summer 2013.

Sinfonia Varsovia
1st prize in International Competition in Warsaw
Atelier Thomas Pucher has been announced the winner of the prestigeous international competition for the New Philharmonic Hall of the world-renown Orchestra Sinfonia Varsovia. The project will be built in the Praga District in Warsaw and will help urbanising this district. One of the main features of the project is a fairy tale public park, the other is the main concert hall - where we developed a completely new concept for philharmonic halls. Start of construction is due to 2014.

Design for EUROSPAR in the centre of Graz unveiled
Thomas Pucher presented the design for the new EUROSPAR market in the basement of Kastner und Öhler department store. The market shall become Styria's leading store in this building which is due to undergo a total reorganization by Spanish architects Nieto Sobejano.

Graz Reininghaus Masterplan
Masterplan for Graz Reininghaus completed
Atelier Thomas Pucher finished the Masterplan for the Reininghaus site in Graz. The plan defines the basic parameters for the development of the 100hect. site. The area shall become the future centre of the western part of Graz which inhabits around 100.000 people at present.
The project was awarded the first prize in an international tender procurement and already passed the City Council approval.

Honourable Mention at international competition for EXPO 2012 in Yeosu, South Korea
We merged the organisation of a building with the conditions of water - to form a giant waterfall in the sea. The waterfall is energized by the power of the ocean and the sun. It forms a single eco system and needs no additional supply - The worlds first self sustainable waterfall.

1st prize at invited competition in Tartu, Estonia
Atelier Thomas Pucher has won its second major competition in Tartu, Estonia. The Art Factory development is housed on the site of a former brewery-plant. On a gross floor area of 26.000m² a multi-functional development comprising galleries, offices, shopping facilities and apartments shall be designed until 2012. Large emphasizing has been laid on the soft yet intensive combination of all different utilizations.

Welcome Tower
60´s redesign at Central Station, Graz
Atelier Thomas Pucher & Bramberger architects have signed the contract to redesign a 60´s office building at the central station of Graz. The 12.000m² building will also be the new home for our own office up from June 2008. One highlight of the building will be a bar with an outdoor pool on the rooftop.

However the Korean developers decided not to go for such a positiv future and selected a more commonplace project for the first prize.

1st prize at invited competition in Tartu, Estonia
Atelier Thomas Pucher & Bramberger architects have won the invited competition for the Tartu Rebase Street housing development. 9 towers with 444 appartments on a gross floor area of nearly 30.000m² shall be developed on a prestigeous site in Estonias second largest city. The aim of the project is to provide each appartment the splendour of a single villa and combine this with a sophisticated ecological energy system.
Building starts in january 2007.
